Puebla & Taxco

Combining the colonial city of Puebla with the Magic Town of Taxco, this tour offers a combination of beauty, culture, history, and of course shopping! Including Mexico’s oldest continuously inhabited city, Cholula, and a visit to one of the world’s largest cave systems, Cacahuamilpa Caverns.

On the first day of this tour we fly into Mexico City and travel just 2 hours by bus to Puebla, where you will enjoy an introduction to this city and some delicious Poblano cuisine.

Day two takes us to Mexico’s oldest continuously inhabited city. Established between 800 and 200 BC, Cholula is also home to one of the largest pyramids in the world. From here we continue back for a tour of the city of Puebla, including a visit to the fort where the Mexican army defeated the French army in the famous First Battle of Puebla on May 5th 1862.

From Puebla we travel to the state of Guerrero, visiting the Magic town of Taxco, most famously known for its silver. As well as being the silver capital of Mexico, Taxco boasts narrow cobbled streets lined with beautiful Spanish architecture and a stunning cathedral. You can also appreciate a great birds-eye view of the city by taking a ride in the cable car.
