Enjoy this breathtaking tour of the Yucatán and Riviera Maya, including Mérida, Chichén Itzá, Valladolid, Tulum and Ría Lagartos Biosphere Reserve.
Our tour begins in the vibrant colonial city of Merida, centre of the Mayan Culture. Here we experience the beautiful plaza and visit the impressive archaeological site of Uxmal, one of the most interesting and intriguing Mayan sites in Mexico.
From Merida we head to the famous Mayan site of Chichín Itzá where we will learn about the Mayan people both past and present and understand some of the mysteries of the Mayan astronomical calendar, before continuing on to the beautiful town of Valladolid for a swim in one of the most attractive cenotes in Mexico. From here we take a tour into the Ría Lagartos Biosphere Reserve to enjoy one of the area’s most tranquil and breathtaking natural environments.
Finally we head to Tulum from where we will visit the famous archaeological site of the same name; the majestic cliff-top ruins overlooking the Riviera Maya’s pristine coastline.

DIFFICULTY LEVEL:
Medium* – generally easy going with more demanding walk at Chichen Itza and Tulum, but all flat walking and with regular breaks for information.
RECOMMENDATIONS:
Sun screen, hat, long sleeves for evenings, comfortable walking shoes.
