Join us on this 3 day, 2 night trip to the relaxing Pueblo Mágico (Magic Town) of Tapalpa, one of Jalisco’s hidden gems, during their town fiestas!
Throughout this trip you will get to know the picturesque town square and its interesting history, the quaint streets and original buildings, all painted in the traditional red and white colours; all this together with the friendly atmosphere makes Tapalpa a favourite getaway for many visitors.
You will also learn about the traditional medicines produced by a ladies group in the indigenous town of Atacco, just 2km from downtown Tapalpa, as well as getting to try their delicious food made with local ingredients; the ladies also offer massage with natural oils.
Another highlight of this trip is a visit to a nearby ranch to try the tasty liquid delicacies, including local fruit punches and Tapalpa’s version of tequila, known as Barranca (made with a different species of agave, locally known as the chopil).
Last but not least, we head out to the intriguing rock formation known as the ‘Piedrotas’ of Tapalpa.
