Our most popular Colima tour coincides with the annual Colima horse show, combining a spectacular horse parade with a great cultural experience! This trip includes the famous Petatera of Villa de Alvarez (handmade bull ring, constructed every year for local fiestas), Colima’s historic centre, the Magic Town of Comala, Ex-Hacienda Nogueras botanical gardens & museum, a rum factory with a view, and more.
For a special Colima experience, try our ‘A Taste of Colima Tour’: Taste Colima’s traditional drinks and food, get in the saddle at a spectacular equestrian ranch and learn about their permaculture project, and even try your hand at painting with one of Alejandro Rangel’s former students; all this and more in a small group tour, staying in one of Comala’s beautiful boutique hotels. This itinerary (see below) can be customised for private groups (minimum 6 people).

*Please note, this tour from PV/Bucerias includes round-trip transfer to Melaque, and accommodation in Melaque or Barra de Navidad on February 5th and 8th 2025, making it a 5-day trip for those travelling from PV/Bucerias.
