Colima Day Tours

The small state of Colima is a place of vast natural beauty, and great historical and cultural importance. Join Mex-ECO Tours and our expert local guide to explore its capital and surrounding countryside, on one or more of our day trips or multi-day tours.

Our Cultural Day Tour takes you to Colima’s historic centre, the quaint Magic town of Comala, and the Ex-Hacienda Nogueras botanical gardens & museum, to get a feel for the area and what it has to offer. From January to March, we also include a visit to the famous Petatera of Villa de Alvarez (handmade bull ring, constructed during December and January every year for local fiestas).

Our Countryside Day Tour offers you the chance to see the beautiful scenery of Colima’s countryside, including a visit to an equestrian and permaculture ranch, a rum factory that grows its sugarcane on the foothills of the Colima volcano, and a stop in the Magic Town of Comala.

Our day tours and multi-day tours to Colima can be customised for private groups (minimum 6 people).
